Alarm Display Widget

This widget display the date and time of your next scheduled alarm on your home screen.

You can tap the widget to launch your alarm app.

It should work with any alarm app which respects android standards for setting an alarm and registering as the default alarm app. It works great with Google's Clock app.

Troubleshooting

I can't find the app!

This app consists only of a widget. There will be no icon in your application drawer. The way to add a widget to the home screen depends of the software of your device ; it is typically done by long pressing any blank area on the home screen. If the widget doesnt show up in the widget gallery, try rebooting your device.

The displayed alarm is 5 minutes early, late!

The widget use information given by 3rd party apps through a standard Android method. This includes the time of the alarm, as well as the way to open the app which set it. Sometimes, 3rd party apps feed bad or irrelevant information through this method.

For slight and consistent offset (like the 5 minutes offset on most Samsung phones), use Offset setting in the configuration to add those minutes back.

The displayed alarm is completely random!

A 3rd party app is feeding irrelevant information to the Android system. For instance, the app Tasker with "Use reliable alarm" will cause unwanted alarms to be displayed. Other phones registers all calendar events in this manner. Taping on the widget might launch the application causing this alarm to help identify it, if the 3rd party app is giving this information. Unfortunately, there is nothing the widget can do to filter them out.

The widget is not updated when the alarm is changed or tapping the widget doesn't work!

A battery saving system setting or 3rd party might be tampering the widget. Be sure to authorize the widget to run at any time.

For instance, in the stock Android settings app, search for the Battery optimization category, list All apps, select the Alarm Display Widget and choose "Don't optimize".

The widget has been specially crafted to run and update itself only when strictly necessary.

Also, do not use the "Force Stop" feature on the widget.

The widget is displaying 'Problem loading widget'!

This problem can happen after an update of this app. Try removing the widget, rebooting the phone and adding the widget again. The configuration screen will use your last settings.

Risoluzione dei problemi

Non riesco a trovare l'app!

Questa app è composta solo da un widget. Non ci saranno icone nel tuo cassetto delle applicazioni. Il modo di aggiungere un widget alla schermata principale dipende dal software del dispositivo; in genere viene eseguita premendo a lungo qualsiasi area vuota sulla schermata iniziale. Se il widget non viene visualizzato nella galleria dei widget, prova a riavviare il dispositivo.

L'allarme visualizzato è 5 minuti in anticipo, in ritardo!

Il widget utilizza le informazioni fornite da app di terze parti tramite un metodo Android standard. Ciò include l'ora dell'allarme e il modo di aprire l'app che lo ha impostato. A volte, le app di terze parti forniscono informazioni errate o irrilevanti tramite questo metodo.

Per offset leggero e costante (come l'offset di 5 minuti sulla maggior parte dei telefoni Samsung), utilizzare l'impostazione Offset nella configurazione per aggiungere quei minuti indietro.

L'allarme visualizzato è completamente casuale!

Un'app di terze parti sta fornendo informazioni irrilevanti al sistema Android. Ad esempio, l'app Tasker con "Usa allarme affidabile" causerà la visualizzazione di allarmi indesiderati. Altri telefoni registrano tutti gli eventi del calendario in questo modo. Toccare il widget potrebbe avviare l'applicazione causando questo allarme per aiutare a identificarlo, se l'app di terze parti sta dando queste informazioni. Sfortunatamente, non c'è nulla che il widget possa fare per filtrarli.

Il widget non viene aggiornato quando viene modificato l'allarme o toccando il widget non funziona!

Un'impostazione del sistema di risparmio della batteria o di terze parti potrebbe alterare il widget. Assicurati di autorizzare il widget per l'esecuzione in qualsiasi momento.

Ad esempio, nell'app per Android delle impostazioni, cerca la categoria di ottimizzazione della batteria, elenca Tutte le app, seleziona il Widget di visualizzazione allarmi e scegli "Non ottimizzare".

Il widget è stato appositamente realizzato per essere eseguito e aggiornato solo se strettamente necessario.

Inoltre, non utilizzare la funzione "Forza arresto" sul widget.

Il widget sta visualizzando 'Problem loading widget'!

Questo problema può verificarsi dopo un aggiornamento di questa app. Prova a rimuovere il widget, riavviare il telefono e aggiungere di nuovo il widget. La schermata di configurazione userà le ultime impostazioni.
